We at Vidya Pratishthans School of Biotechnology - Baramati are dedicated to provide proper utilization of the advancements in the field of biotechnology by taking together Government, Private sector organizations, academicians, students and the farmers through consultative, advisory and educative process. Vidya Pratishthans School provides Bachelor Degree and Master Degree to the college students.

Vidya Pratishthans School of Biotechnology - Baramati is located at Vidyanagari, Bhigwan Road, Baramati, Pune, Maharashtra. School has one of the largest libraries in the state with the collection of 17000 books. The spacious study room is the place of assembly for the largest number of students under one roof. The dining hall adjacent to the hostels has been provided with all most modern appliances. Regular curricular and extracurricular activities in the available auditorium and the games field make the life of the students adventurous. A well-equipped gymnasium catches the special attention of health conscious youngsters. The College teaches these students to give the expression to their ambitions in life.

Vidya Pratishthans School of Biotechnology - Baramati provides hostel facility. Students housing is offered in the form of two Boys and two Girls Hostels. Hostel facilities for 1450 students give them spacious and clean accommodation. College has provided a hostel with all necessary facilities to 1000 boys and 1000 girls as a intake capacity in the campus. The Hostel is provided with library, reading hall, and the separate dining hall. Discipline and studious atmosphere is meticulously maintained in the Hostel. Canteen and Mess Healthy and wholesome food are available in the campus.

Vidya Pratishthans School of Biotechnology - Baramati provides computer lab facility. The students get the opportunity to learn Computer science in the Graduate level and Post-graduate level. The Computer Science Laboratory and the Language Laboratory to teach English language to students are special attractions for all the students of the college. Results are on an average 80 % for the junior wing and 60% for the senior with most of the students ranking high in their grades. Students have achieved remarkable success in the areas of culture, sports and co-curricular activities along with their strong pursuit of academics. Student welfare, earn and learn, NSS, sports club are the few representatives activities undertaken to make best of these students.

Vidya Pratishthans School of Biotechnology - Baramati has constituted various committees such as college Examination Committee, Gymkhana Committee, Students Welfare Committee, Discipline Committee, Library Committee, etc. There are 30 committees functionally effectively. The recruitment of Teaching staff and Non-Teaching staff is made as per the rules of the University, U.G.C. and Government of Maharashtra.

Vidya Pratishthans School of Biotechnology - Baramati has NSS unit with 250 students on roll who actively participate in various activities such as cleaning, beautification of campus, improvement of the villages etc. They also participate in programmes such as Adult education, Health awareness, Population control etc. The College successfully implements this scheme in collaboration with University of Pune and insures the help to 20 needy and deserving students.
