Vellalar College for Women – VCW Erode is located in Thindal P.O., Erode, Tamil Nadu. Library of Vellalar College for Women – VCW Erode a largest block in the ground floor is very spacious and measures 640 sq.m. With adequate reading facilities for 200 students at a time. It has an excellent collection of books and journals both Indian and foreign to meet the demands of students up to research level. The library is equipped with bar-code technology for computerized circulation system since 2000.
Book Bank facility of Vellalar College for Women – VCW Erode provides text books to the poor and deserving students every semester. The students are allowed to keep the books for one semester.
Medical facilities of Vellalar College for Women – VCW Erode are taking care about the inmate of both the Hostels. A Hygienic food and mineral water are being supplied in the Hostel Mess, so that the Students could maintain good health always. However, the following medical facilities are available. Some Doctors are authorized to give the Treatment to the Students and Staff members. Needy Hostel students and Staff members can have Consultation & Treatment, as and when required. Pickup vans are available in the Trust Transport Department to meet the emergency cases.
Internet Facility of Vellalar College for Women – VCW Erode has been established for browsing, file transfer, limited distance learning, high – end graphics, etc., for the students and staff members. This facility is extended to Ladies hostel computer centre also. The college has merged with the information super highway with the provision of internet facilities during working hours and it is also available to cater the needs of the students after working hours. The student and faculty enjoy unlimited internet access using Reliance line with 8Mbps capacity (1:1 Dedicated Line) and 2 Mbps Broadband BSNL.
Auditorium of Vellalar College for Women – VCW Erode with Multimedia projector is available in our campus for conducting Campus Interviews, National Level Symposium, Conferences, and Seminars etc. In this Auditorium, we could accommodate more than 2500 students. Conference Hall of Vellalar College for Women – VCW Erode with multimedia Projector and with A/C is available in the main Building for conducting association activities, mini conferences and seminars, etc. In this conference Hall, we could accommodate a maximum of 400 Students. Cafeteria of Vellalar College for Women – VCW Erode is available to cater the needs and wants of VCW Students. Telephone Booth and Xerox centre, Stationary stores are available in the Canteen Premises.
