Rajdhani College was founded in 1964 by the Delhi Administration under the name of Government College and is a constituent College of the University of Delhi. The College got its new name when the Delhi Administration vested its governance in an autonomous Governing Body.
Rajdhani College is located on Mahatma Gandhi Marg near Raja Garden in West Delhi. It’s beautiful and spacious building was constructed in 1976-77.
Rajdhani College complex has various facilities like an air conditioned seminar room, an auditorium, a well-stocked library, well-equipped laboratories and beautiful playgrounds for cricket, football, hockey, tennis, basket ball and volley ball.

Rajdhani College library has a book collection of more than 100,362 in all subjects. It also has a collection of latest magazines and prescribes to more than 62 academic journals.
Rajdhani College helps the needy and deserving students usually in the form of text books. A well equipped Girls Common Room has the various comfort facilities like bed, Easy chairs, magazine access and dressing room etc. Medical facilities and doctors (on call) are available at all times for minor ailments etc.
Rajdhani College is a co-educational institution and offers courses like B.Com Honors, B.A Honors in English, Economics, Hindi, History, Mathematics, Political Science, Sanskrit and B. A. Programme, B. Sc Honors in Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics and Electronics and the B. Sc Programme.
Rajdhani College also offers PG in Courses like English, Hindi, History and Commerce. Placement Cell provides employment opportunities to the final year students through interviews/ group discussions/ tests that usually take place at the campus premises.
