PGP College of Pharmaceutical Science and Research Institute – Namakkal was promoted by Dr. Palani G.Periasamy, is a ‘Dream come True? It is a grateful gift of a son of the soil to his native place. It has been a long-cherished dream of Dr. Palani G. Periaasmay to start a college close to his native place to cater to the intellectual needs of the youth of Tamilnadu in general and of Namakkal District in particular. This dream has taken a concrete shape with the establishment of this college in 2007. Our College Approved by Govt. of Tamilnadu Approved by New Delhi and Recognized by Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi.
The objective of PGP College of Pharmaceutical Science and Research Institute – Namakkal is to promote the college into an Institution of Excellence, which will serve the rural youth by providing them with an easy access to higher education and offer high standard education to students from other parts India and all over at world. The college strives for the integrated growth of the students in which their intellectual, moral and cultural development taken proper care of. It inculcates discipline, higher levels of culture and finer values of life in the youth. College offers different kind of bachelor and master course leading to different streams.

Library facility of PGP College of Pharmaceutical Science and Research Institute – Namakkal has a modern computerized library. It has more than 2,000 volumes and subscribes to daily newspapers, monthly magazines and Journals. The faculty and students of the college are making the best use of the Library. Hostel facility of PGP College of Pharmaceutical Science and Research Institute – Namakkal there are hostels inside the college campus, separately for boys and girls. Admission to the hostel will be on first come first served basis. Students desirous of admission should obtain the application form from the office of the students hostel on payment of Rs.100/-. Rules and regulations in force at the time of admission and subsequent changes made will regulate stay in the hostel.

Medicinal Plants Garden at PGP College of Pharmaceutical Science and Research Institute – Namakkal aloe vera is cultivated in our Medicinal plants Garden Aloe vera was known to Indians for its medicinal values since time immemorial in the name of Ghrit Kumaree. It has been medicinally used in Siddha, Vedas, Ayurvedic as laxative, as a liver tonic, as a wound healing agent, as an adaptive, etc. It is grouped under Rasayana group of herbs, which qualifies it to be consumed regularly without any apprehension of side effects. People in PGP Campus and visitors have found Aloe vera effective and useful.
