PGP Educational and Welfare Society were accorded approval to start PGP College of Nursing and Research – Namakkal in 2006. PGP College of Nursing and Research has started its academic activities from 2007 onwards. It has excellent infrastructure facilities, with highly experienced and qualified staffs. Spread out in area of more than 200 acres abutting national highway (NH-7). The College is well served by buses from the neighboring Towns of Namakkal, Karur, Tiruchengode, Salem and Trichy. Aim of PGP College of Nursing and Research – Namakkal prepare graduates to assume responsibilities as professional and competent nurses and midwives. Computer facility of PGP College of Nursing and Research – Namakkal has well equipped Air-Conditioned computer labs nearly 775 system with latest configurations that includes IBM, Hp, and Pentium. These systems are accommodated in 10 spacious computer centers, which are set up with a state of the art, interior comfort and higher configurations. Our labs are highly networked and are controlled by a College server, which extends its service throughout all the labs. Moreover each lab is endorsed with individual servers.

Internet Lab of PGP College of Nursing and Research – Namakkal is considered to be the lifeline of Information Technology. Central Library of PGP College of Nursing and Research – Namakkal has a central library with spacious halls and exclusive reference section with quite number of volumes on all subjects whose total exceeds 27285 volumes. There are 79 National journals and 59 International Journals subscribed in our college Library. The library remains open from 9 AM to 8.PM. Our Library is completely computerized and measures are being taken to promote our Library to Digital Library.

Hostel facility of PGP College of Nursing and Research – Namakkal separate hostels for girls and boys are provided with good food and accommodation. Wardens maintain homely care and discipline. Recreational facilities such as outdoor games, indoor games & gym are provided. Separate boys and girls hostels cater to the needs of the students. There are single and double rooms with all facilities to accommodate approximately 1300 boys and 500 girls.
