Adwaita Mission Training College-Banka is a sequent step in extension of its educational activities. Adwaita Mission Training College-Banka was established due to the persistent demand of the people of the area by Mandar Vidyapeeth management in 2006 to cater the needs of a vast number of students as there is dearth of training colleges running presently in southern and eastern parts of Bihar, imparting quality education in B. Ed. The Vidyapeeth expanded its educational activities in the form of Adwaita Mission High School in 1990, an English medium school affiliated to C.B.S.E., Delhi up to 10+2 level.

Adwaita Mission Training College-Banka is situated in the eastern foot of the famous Mandar Hill at a distance of 2.5 km from Mandar Vidyapeeth Railway Station, (on the Bhagalpur-Mandar Hill Railway line) and on the Bhagalpur-Dumka-Deoghar bus route; Deoghar is 60 km and Bhagalpur is 45 km, by road from here. It is 20 km away from Banka district headquarters.

Adwaita Mission Training College-Banka is constructed in about 9415 sq.ft. of land. Spacious classrooms create learning environment that support the full spectrum of students' abilities. Adwaita Mission Training College-Banka has Five Class rooms of 500 sq. ft. each, Three Activity rooms, one faculty room, One Principal room, One Learning Resource Centre, One Office room and One Store Room. All the rooms are well furnished with all basic amenities and furniture.

Adwaita Mission Training College-Banka is self-financed institution recognized by NCTE, Bhubaneswar and affiliated to TM Bhagalpur University. It follows the UGC syllabus approved by T.M. Bhagalpur University. The curriculum is divided into 10 papgers, in wihcih 04 papers are general, 02 Method papers followed by 02 practice method papers. 01 Craft and other cummunity life activities. The Method subjects include Humanities, Social Science, Physical Science, Biological Science, Mathematics etc. The method subjects are to be selected as per norms.

Adwaita Mission Training College-Banka offered B.Ed. course is of one-year duration. Generally, admissions are taken in the month of June, session begins in July and University Examination takes place in the month of May the following year. 75% attendance is compulsory. Normally, 180 days of teaching and 20 days of practice classes in Govt. Schools is prescribed. Three terminal/sessional examinations are arranged as per rules.

There are seven permanent teachers besides a good number of part time teachers and guest lecturers also engage classes whenever necessary. Adwaita Mission Training College-Banka is headed by an experienced principal and overall guidance is rendered by Director (Honorary) with pretty long administrative experience.
