Hello,
This is a complaint. The reason I state that is because I would also take the time to compliment as well. Today at the Zehr's location in Owen Sound Ontario, I went to the office area at about 2:15pm and asked the older lady there if Zehr's price matched?

Her reply was a scrunched up face, shaking her head NO, which solidified me never shopping there again. Had she used some customer service skills and said No sorry we do not, I would have been fine with that. Yours

Wed 27 Sept Owen Sound Zehrs 19:15. Bought flowers, desert amd ice cream. Two cashiers open both filled. Parking lot was bery busy. Lots of customers. Stood in line for five minutes and the line did not move. I went to the fast food checkout. It was closed. I left my goods at the closed till with an employee. This was my 42nd Anniversary. I just had a new knee and standing in line was frustrating and starting to be painfull. Am I wrong to expect better service?
Disappointed. Where was your Manager?.

The price of "Spam" and "PC canned coffee" both increased by 50 cents at your stores. At the same time, a black and white sticker stating "in-store special" was placed below the produc. Is the sticker a marketing tactic to hide, or
somehow compensate, for the fact that the price of both increased? It sure as hell is NOT an "in-store special, " unless it DECREASED by 50 cents Those are now two (unless I find more) of your products I will be purchasing less often.

To whom it may concern, I am writing to inform you that I have never been so disrespected by another person as I was from an employee and a manager from the St. Clair beach Zehrs on Dec 17, 2017. I had called the store to put in a flower delivery order for my grandmothers funeral. Naturally I was already upset, but this treatment was unacceptable. The first employee was working in the smoke shop and it was obvious that she did not want to talk to me and her immediate response was that the florist wasn't there. I simply wanted to know if I called back in the morning would the flowers make it to the funeral home that day. This lady gave me far too much attitude which is when I asked to speak with the manager who also treated me the same way. I would imagine that the managers at that store would be able to answer simple questions and not make their costumes feel like they are wasting their time. I gave my business to Sobeys where I was treated with respect and compassion.

I would like to offer a suggestion about plastic straws. With lack of facilities to recycle them, could you just stop selling them in your stores?
Those companies should start making paper straws instead. Also, start replacing plastic bags with good old fashion paper bags. They compost quicker than the bio plastic ones you are providing now. Can we not just get going on this to clean up the planet?
