E-Cab Taxi Complaint. I fly twice monthly in or out of Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. My destination upon arrival is a residence in the city of SeaTac. Sometimes I use Uber and sometimes I use a taxi. Usually, the one way taxi fare to my destination on 34th Ave. S is under ten dollars. My average fare with Uber is $9. 21 for the same ride. On Monday, 13 August 2018, I asked the taxi dispatcher at Sea-Tac airport to hail a metered taxi. He directed me to E-Cab 231 and confirmed that it was a metered taxi. After the roughly half-mile trip, the driver demanded $20. 00 as a flat rate. I paid the $20. 00, but was beyond annoyed for two reasons. First, I had been assured that I had been assigned a metered cab. Second, I can’t believe that a flat rate to go ½ mile would be twenty dollars. That is clearly TWICE the going rate that I have experienced in recent months. I strongly protest the outrageous fare and the error made by the taxi dispatcher. My cell number is 425-879-8592.

Situation 1: Moving from the aircraft to the shuttle to immigration. The attendant at the shuttle, just simply said wait with attitude. Inform the attendants that not everyone speaks English and even if they do, they may not be able to hear them. After all they just spent ten plus hours on a flight and it is possible that some people's inner ear pressure may have not equalized on descent. So smile and provide the traveler with a hand signal. Situation 2: Airport Police/Security at baggage claim
My wife needed direction to Skybridge four so she asked the first person she saw that could help, Airport Police. The Airport Police (woman) responded with "Find someone else" This could have been addressed differently, regardless of what they were doing. They could have responded with something like "ma'am, I am currently busy with a police matter, is it possible to find someone else. " While this would not be desired response, it would be better than the one given. Please contact me.

I was appalled by the action of a SEATEC employee upon my arrival on Sept. 15th from Heathrow airport. We had retrieved our bags and made it through customs in a satellite terminal and proceeded by train to the main terminal for ground transport at approximately 5:30pm 9/15/18. It was when we reached the main terminal and had to use the elevator to reach the baggage/ground transport floor (too many bags to use the two escalators)that we encountered a 5ft 2in dark-haired young woman of either Indian or Middle Eastern descent with a badge tucked in her pocket, not on display. As we approached the elevator behind her, she spat a large glob of phlegm on the wall. When we got to the elevator I challenged her and she didn't respond. It was disgusting, and her badge was well hidden so that she could not be identified. Please, please, please train your employees on the basics of hygiene.
