Ramgarhia college of Education-RCE, formerly known as Ramgarhia Training College was started on 24th September 1956 founded by great visionaries late. S. Mohan Singh Hadiabadi and late S. Mela Singh Bhogal with two units of Bachelor of Training (B.T.) class under the aegis of Ramgarhia Educational Council Phagwara. This progressive college was founded by illustrious sons of Punjab late S. Mohan Singh Hadiabadi (Founder President) and late S. Mela Singh Bhogal (President) with the active cooperation of other members of Ramgarhia Community. Presently this body is steered by S. Bharpur Singh as its President.It is situated at Phagwara, Punjab.

This college has been accredited B+ Grade by NAAC.Master of Education (M.Ed) course was started in 1987 in this institution in the first instant and later in academic session 2001-2002. The college has celebrated its golden jubilee year with 5 consecutive Gold Medals in B.Ed and another Gold Medal in M.Ed. Presently it has intake capacity of 200 B.Ed and 25 M.Ed students. Developing institutional distinctives by vitalizing the Teaching learning skills with focus on futuristic demands; utilizing new teaching gadgets with research orientation and developing functional relationship with other educational institutions.
