Loyola Institute of Business Administration-LIBA organized a placement cell in the campus. Its aim to provide better job opportunities to students. The placement will be processed in some steps: Final Placement is organized over the span of a week. The graduate batch of 2010 has 112 students who will participate in the final placement process. The current batch is extremely diverse and boasts of profiles ranging from engineering and commerce to arts and business. Lateral placement is also organized over the span of one week. Students with work experience of over 18 months are eligible to sit for the lateral placement process. Approximately one-third of the students of the current batch are eligible for lateral placement. At the end of the first year, students are required to undertake an industrial project in order to practically apply the theory they have learnt to life issues. The summer internship programme encourages students to undertake research-based projects in order to gain practical industrial experience. Summer placement is held when companies come to the LIBA campus for pre-placement talks Companies register with the institute for participation in the Placement Process by filling in the tear-away registration form provided in the brochure.
