Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom was established in the year 1884. Its history started with the formation of a
Summer resort in Allentown by Solomon Dorney. After ten years of establishment, the founder converted it into a public attraction and added several rides, children's games and a restaurant. In 1880s the park was renovated with the addition of few more gardens, a small zoo and various other entertainment facilities.
