Although the college is situated about 25 Kms from Hyderabad City, Geographically it is located bordering between Ranga Reddy & Nalgonda Districts.

Matrix Institute of Technology – MXIT Nalgonda has huge conventional library and digital library in an area of 6,000 sft with all the books to cater to all the students as required by AICTE and JNTUH. The college is fully equipped with English Language Communications Laboratory as well as fully equipped Computer, Electrical and Electronics Electronics & Communications Labs besides other Engineering Workshops.

Several students are utilizing our hostel for boys that are attached to Matrix Institute of Technology – MXIT Nalgonda in the campus and the girl students are utilizing our girls hostel and another there is another for boys at Nagaram to accommodate students from other states. The food is prepared under strict hygienic environment at all our hostels to cater to our students. The Hostels are maintained as per the AICTE & JNTUH Norms.

Matrix Institute of Technology – MXIT Nalgonda has secured second place academically in Nalgonda District in the first year itself. The students have shown equal importance in other activities as well by representing the college in inter-collegiate seminars, debating competitions and sports. A student has represented the college at inter-university level in hockey. In cricket and volley ball the students have performed very well in several tournaments. Matrix Institute of Technology – MXIT Nalgonda is planning to organize seminars & conferences on various engineering topics, which are useful for students to become well acquainted with the technology & trends. The college is going to start student chapters of various professional bodies such as ISTE, IEEE, IE , IETE, and other professional organizations to benefit the student community of all the disciplines.

Matrix Institute of Technology – MXIT Nalgonda is a ragging free campus and we take special interest in anti-ragging measures by educating the students about the consequences of ragging. We have a very good anti-ragging team, consisting of experienced faculty and trained serious students to take preventive measures to contain & control ragging. The students are well informed about the legal measures taken by central government and state government towards such anti-social activities. The staff counsels the senior students periodically not to involve in ragging and so far they have been successful. Matrix Institute of Technology – MXIT Nalgonda buses are available to the college students from all corners of the twin cities. At present five buses are in operation and college is ready to provide any number of buses depending on the requirement of students.
