Dear Big W,
I am very unsatisfied with your party department at Big W Warnbro. A week prior to my daughters 8th birthday I spent nearly 200$ on decorations and balloons. The balloons were to be INFLATED and READY to be picked up at 11:30 on Sunday the 26th of June. When I went to collect them my order was not ready and had been misplaced. After waiting for quite some time it was found and my balloon order made up, unfortunately not in time for my daughters birthday. Staff were quite rude and unapologetic as to the delay and mix up and when asked if I could have some compensation for my wasted time and money were uncooperative. Not happy with the customer service and expected at least a partial refund or some free balloons. I do expect a reply. Thank you

Hi, I would like to complaint Big W staff at QV branch. I think she is an Indian staff. She's attitude really to rude when asking for her help. My husband ask for her to help when we gonna to buy a microwave just now(31th March at 2pm). I felt up with her attitude and she didn't said apologize to us. My husband get very angry just now luckily I can stop him. I hope Big W can concern this problem. We are consumers. We go Big W buy things and request for help doesn't mean need have to accept staff rude to us. Hi I had the most upsetting conversation with an extremely rude guy named Blake that works at Riverton Big W books section. I was at Big W Riverton on Sunday looking to buy Goosebumps classic collection 20 books set promotion at $40 (RRP $80) for my daughter. But they didn't have anything in stock so they gave me phone number to call back on Tuesday to see if they have in stock. So I called the Riverton Big W today (Tuesday) and they transferred me to Blake. He started off really polite, went and checked the books set for me and said it's not in stock. So I asked him when the books set will be in stock because the promotion is until tomorrow (Wednesday 16th March 16) and it's no point for me to buy it after the promotion ends. Then he started raising his voice at me and telling me this Goosebumps classic collection 20 books set $40 is everyday price and it's not a promotion price. I told him that's incorrect because I got the Big W sale catalog right in front of me.

I went into Big W today to get underpants for my 16 year old son. I happened to be in Ballina today because he had cricket. I bought some underpants and when we got home and he went to put a pair on it still had the security tag on rendering the item useless. I never go into Ballina as I have no need so unfortunately I will have to make a trip back for this sole purpose of getting a tag off. I am totally put out by this as now I have to head back into Ballina and my son is without underpants. I went to the check out and a female person served me too and she should have been aware of what she is scanning and security tags.

My complaint is first I bought a Box of Christmas lights from your store after getting them home and put up they didn't work and they are solar I just thought they needed to charge. No luck they do not work. So I took them back to the store which I got a replacement set. They cost $35. The second lot are not working now after putting them up for the second time same again thought they needed charging with the sun again wrong. Next I bought a Build your own Ginger Bread House Kit and got that out of the box to build with my foster kids today and it is all in pieces. Kids not happy and disappointing we are away and I cant return to store now. I paid $10 for the kit. I shopped at Springfield Big W tonight and as my bag was so heavy with coins i decided to pay for my items with gold coins, $72, as soon as i was about to pay i was told Big W does not accept coins there is a $10 coin limit, i think this is so wrong money is money, the cashier was happy to accept, but the woman in charge walked up to me and told me this in a very rude tone. On the 1. 12. 15 I went into the Big W store at Robina town centre. As I was walking back round towards the checkouts I walked past the beauty department where I saw three staff member restocking shelves I'm assuming, and they were swearing quite loudly. Three ladies with no manners or respect for the customers around. Considering this is the time of year were there are people of every age and gender shopping around for Christmas, its a tad disturbing that they are swearing with no concern for little kids that may be running around.

Hello, my name is Heather . My complaint is that on Saturday the 21st of November I was at your Endeavor Hills store in Victoria. I was at lay by department at 20 past five to put a lay by on. One of the ladies from the change room called for assistance for us three times. Still no one came so I went and seen them again and she told me to wait at lay by. She came back and said lay by was closed, there was no sign saying so to which she agreed was unusual. I do not understand why lay by would be closed on a Saturday as people work through the week. I was disgusted at the way I was treated.

On Saturday around lunch time on 14 November Big W Whit fords Perth WAI went to the customer service desk and asked for key tags and was told had I looked in the Stationary department yes I had- had I looked in the Office department - yes I had - to which she replied Well then we do not have them. I said that was great customer service could you not ask someone in that department maybe i missed them? Then she said stop talking over me and I will help you my husband was with me how rude, I made a point of standing at the stationary section searching everywhere and finally found them.

My complaint is in regards to the Big W photo's I spent several hours putting together my Photo book I got to the end after it automatically saved every 15 minutes the page froze or my computer did I refreshed only to find everything was gone which surprised and really really annoyed me after all the saving it did. I then spent another good few hours redoing the photo book completing after midnight I added to my cart only to discover the sale had ended and I had to pay full price on my book. I would like to make a complaint regarding Big W Mudgee store. The problem is concerning Hot Wheels Treasure Hunt cars not appearing on the shelves as it has come to my attention that some staff are purchasing these cars prior to being put out in the store and so depriving customers the opportunity of purchasing them for their own collections. I am aware of this happening in various other stores not (justBig W) and would ask that this situation be rectified so as to make it fair for all. My son collects them and he is constantly despondent when none are to be found. Thanking you in advance.

I have been shopping at Big W Lavington for a number of years, it has always had great service and stock supplies. As I have let you know in the past how good it was I will now tell you the problem and it's not with the staff, there great. For a while now the selves are becoming very empty in all different departments from microwaves to bird seed and lots of things in between, so I go else where to purchase the products I want, so If I am doing this so will many of your other customers. Just letting you know that on Wednesday the 22July i was shopping at Morayfield Big W when i was after some help in the toy department after asking the help desk of the entertainment section the lady called three times for customer service i waited for over 30 minutes with no help at all. The toy staff couldn't even call the help desk back when asked to i usually spend hundreds of dollars in your store where is the service to help customers i think this store needs a big shake up to improve service as i overheard other customers being upset with customer service in this store Thanking you Paul Powell .

Today I went to Big W Booval to have a look at your sale and notice on Friends Lego Dolphin Cruiser a price that said Sale $70. 40. In the store you have big signs saying 20% off marked price. So my thought was 20% off $70. 40. When I took it up to the counter was told that it already had been discounted not anywhere on the sign did it say that 20% had come off. This was one of the only signs up in the Lego section and notice they did not put the sign back up next to the Lego. Walked out of the shop feeling very unhappy that I had been treated unfairly and to me this was misleading and false advertising.

Not to sure why Big W have a online service if you can not buy certain stuff. They have the LEGO Sandcrawler as a exclusive, but up here in Townsville they never have enough supply unless your there on the first day opening. So you try online, but it tells you you can only buy it in store. If you have it in others shops in Australia in stock why can you not send it from another store to a store in Townsville or home delivery. You have money to spend to purchase a item, but they do not supply the service. Target offer that service cannot understand why Big W cant.

I tried to buy my son a xbox and due to some sort of error with your online ordering I am getting two and have been charged for two about one hour after I ordered I checked my bank and saw I was charged twice so I called immediately and no one seemed to know how to fix this so now I am getting two of what I ordered and have to wait at least five days for the order to be delivered then I have to return one then maybe I will get my money back this is not good enough I am a disability pensioner and that money was for a new mattress for me and my husband who has cancer and I have had two back operations now we have to wait how long I would like someone to do something about this not keep telling me they cant do anything I will never use this web site again to purchase anything and I will be telling anyone I know to do the same.

Good afternoonI received your latest catalogue for on sale Thursday June 4th until Wednesday June 17th. On page 13 there are five toy items at 50% off. This morning I made a special effort to be at your Charlestown store when it opened at 8. 30am and was the first and only one at that time to go to the toys. Both the Star Wars 75048 and 75037 were gone. Empty shelf. A gentleman in that department said that they were on the shelf when he left last night and they must have been sold after he left last night. I find that selling them the previous evening to the date advertised is wrong when people make the effort to travel to the store on the advertised date. A pleasant lady in the layby dept. Rang a few stores for me, but they had the same problem with their customers wanting them also, surely as the 50% off items could be marked first thing before the store opened as there were only five in this department. As I traveled especially for these specials I am not no pleased with BigW.

Hi I have been in contact with the Geelong store regarding a childcare cosi dl toddler bed (white) which was told none were available and to try contact other nearby stores. I contacted the highpoint store and spoke to a sales associate and was told that there were three in stock, but was unable to hold as it was sale stock. I sent my husband to the highpoint store 12/04 mind you he drove there all the way from Geelong to be told by the staff there that there was no atock whatsoever. This is completely and utterly disappointing customer service as it was such a waste of time and money getting there. Hi we regularly buy Woofbix dog food for our dogs as they really like it. The last few times we have been to Wagga Wagga Big W they have not had any on the shelf or out the back. I asked a manager in store last time we went and she advised me that they were not getting as much stock in and to ring before we come to ensure we get some as we live over an hour away in a small country town. We have called the last couple days to get the food put away, but they are saying it's a supply problem and they do not have any? We have 12 large dogs so we do not just buy one or two bags. I was in the Gympie Store this morning and saw advertised (photo attached)flannel shirts two for $15. 00. Upon purchase I was told at checkout that there were $9. 00 each as only certain colors were on special. As you can see from the attached photo nowhere does the pricing ticket say this, but regardless I had to pay $9. 00 each. This is a case of false advertising as the supervisor told me in the catalog which I didn't have nor was produced to me as proof that it stated only certain color. As the advertising ticket didn't state certain colors according to fair trade I should have been charged the ticket price which was two for $15. 00. This is quite common with this store. Ripped off once again.

I went to buy a bike from Big W today to take riding this weekend. After finding the bike I wanted and of course it's the last one in stock I took it to the counter to pay for it for them to tell me I cant have it until next week and only after their specialist has a look at it, being some time next week. Which includes me driving back to the store to pick the bike up. I tell them being a car mechanic alongside working in a push bike shop for five years would think I could put a simple bike together. They then proceed to tell me it against company policy for them to sell me the bike. I do not understand why Big W can no longer sell bikes anymore. What type of policy Is that? Stupid if you ask me. When a company can no longer sell bikes without having a 'specialist' check it out.

I have been dealing at your Tweed Heads store since it was opened. For six years I have been on crutches and had Three knee replacements. Three times I have shopped on my own. And needed a plastic bag to carry things which I have bought there. Three times over the last twelve I have asked for a plastic bag to help me carry things in, and three timesI have had to argue to get one. The last time the woman at the counter said You are asking me to give you one of our plastic shopping bags that our shoppers use to shop with so you can shop with. She would not give me one. At your Toowoomba store I found a pair of shoes for my daughter on a rack CLEARLY marked 25%off. At the checkout I am charged full price, so I mention the sign. She rang through, and was advised this was only applicable to stickered items. I went back to check, and the sign made no mention of stickered items, so I asked a staff member. She again said about items needing to be stickered so I showed her the sign, and although she conceded it didn't say that, it was in fact the condition. I was unimpressed and advised I would avoid shopping there, and while I realize it would have only saved $3. 75, unfortunately this is not the first time this has happened in this store. I went recently to buy bras on 'sale' yet conveniently at the checkout it doesn't apply. Of course by then you have a line behind you and feel pressured to buy. I have spoken with others who have experienced this, so I wonder is this a ploy to get you to the register?

Good dayIn about mid 2014 i purchased a kettle from your Erina department. The model was a Sunbeam Quantum Evo Stainless 1. seven liter cordless (KE6300). This kettle came with a 12 month replacement guarantee and it is now defective. So i returned it to Erina, in the original packaging only to be pulled up short by your receptionist because i did not have a receipt. The receipt has long since faded away despite being kept in the box. So i was not offered a replacement, or anything else, and advised that having the original packaging was of no value. I do not appreciate being asked " how do we know that you bought it here or even at Big W " no matter how politely it is asked. Other major outlets will accept the original packaging as proof of purchase it is intolerable that do not. Big W has just lost a family of regular customers over the price of a kettle. I am also displeased that your software insists on misspelling my name.

While shopping at your Rosny park store I wished to purchase an outdoor setting and gazebo after waiting 20 minutes and pushing the customer service button numerous times I went to the front service desk to stand there for another five minutes before being attended to when I told the girl behind the counter of what had happened the response was she didn't hear the service button and she would call someone as she did only to discover the person she called that should have been working on the floor was talking to one of his friends at the front of the store all this before my eyes. The whole experience has left a very sour taste in my mouth as your company boasts about customer service The store was not busy at the time so I had left the store in discuses.

Incorrect information in catalog and given by two staff members. Buy three for price of two DVD or Bluray of any TV series. Impatient, dismissive and unhelpful staff. Left store and came back half hour later. Went to service counter. Showed them cataglogue, was told I was correct and to go back into store and select three DVD's-which I did. Selected - House of Cards one and two and Supernatural 8. Informed could not scan HofC2 as it had Ultraviolet and asked to go back into store again to get one without Ultraviolet. Not available. Told special deal did not apply to HofC2. Staff at service counter spoke to several staff-too hard basket. Get your act together with your catalogs and educate your incompetent staff in manners and customer service.

The staff at warrawong Big W Are disgustingly rude All of them They had put a dress on the wrong rack saying it was $15 so I took it to checkout thinking it's $15 lady told me it was $20 and I said well it said $15 on the rack and all the dresses were there. Morning, You have a Female by the name of Lisa Martin at your pagewood store, who is stalking, intimidating, and threatening a number of people outside of work. Police are currently conducting an investigation, and are close to laying a number of criminal charges against this women. She uses a number of fake accounts on face book, and then closes them, however they are all linked to the same IP address. What she says in some of those posts are defaming to her Employer Big W. This women needs to be spoken to and the allegation put to her, as I'm in the process of taking this to the media.

Hi there, on the 05/08/2014 I had purchased the blacksmith leather work boots, over the past couple of weeks I had noticed that they are falling apart, where it's joined to the soul of the boots they are split. And the inside cushion inlays have completely come out. I have found these boots faulty and useless as they give me blisters and the quality is just rubbish. For the 2nd year running my wife and i have had nothing, but trouble with Big W bendigo with the layby for Christmas that was running earlier this year. Last year they lost all of our goods we put on layby for our then three year old. We were not offered any compensation or anything, this year the same things happened, but this time the customer service person openly said we will replace your lost goods with another customers to solve your problem. I am not a the sharpest tool in the shed, but this means someone else will have the same issue. Massive thumbs down to Big W in general, if you offer these deals you should be able to track all customers goods. I know for fact while in the line waiting for our goods to turn up i spoke to ten other customers with the same issue.

I made an online order when the Christmas sale was on. I was ment to receive a swing set play centre by the 1st of December. I received half a swing set. I ran up on a Monday and was told it was cancelled and they do not know why, but they will pass the enquiry on. I received a text the next day stating they will be in contact within three days to resolve the issue. The following Monday after no contact I rang back, I was on hold for twenty minutes before they told me it was lost and they would ring me back later. I tang back later that day asking for a refund, but was told it would take days before I could get a refund. So now I have no swing set and no money to buy another one. So thanks Big W you have ruined my kids Christmas. I'm am so discussed in how use treat people and I will not be leaving this I will take it much further.

I went to Big W COFFS HARBOUR PALM CENTRE yesterday together with my four yrs old, two yrs old and my one year old. I have thought il just borrow a trolley from Big W to put my one year old boy. I grab a trolley and put my one child in. The woman staff ask me where AM I taking the trolley. I said to the food court' She said you are not allowed to do that because our trolley is only for people who do shopping in Big W. I said I will do shopping later on, she said no, you do shopping first so you can used our trolley. The staff at Target are much better trained they are not rude.

I have ordered through online layby for the first time, I had to move from QLD to NSW within few weeks and gave all my details to customer Big W representative, he told me everything will be fine and insisted to redirect my mail for the package through Australia post so I paid for redirection for a month. Only to find out today that there has been a change of plan to use star track express customer service said they will fix it up from there end, and for me to call star track as well, they have been contacted, but need confirmation from Big W for account details after talking to customer service Big W again now the package is in limbo until Big W approves for package to be redirected and a Big W representative said I could be hit with another fee for redirection this time through Big W fees to pay for Big W redirection not am I only out of pocket for Australia post redirection fees as well as already paying for shipping want to make me pay again for three times shipping costs.

Very angry over your false advertising of the Dyson Vacuum Cleaner being available for $398 only on Saturday 8th of November. I went into the store only to told. They didn't receive any. On ringing a few more stores, i was told that only a few stores had received them in stock for the sale. I rang the number to be told by the person that they had sold out very quickly. I tried to explain that they hadn't even had any to start with. There was one store I was told to go to that we are taking lay-bys for it, but I do not gave time to travel there. Please return my email with a solution to your problem and let me know, when i will be able to receive my Dyson Barrell Vacuum at the advertised price. I was at the Big W store in Echuca just now to buy a new microwave. When I saw one on display which I was keen on, I asked a staff member to check the measurements and the wattage for me. The reply? Since the box for the item wasn't there on the shelf, I could only find out what was written on the actual microwave or I could bring along my own tape to measure it(the store didn't have one, sorry - I was actually told that).

So I left. On the way out, I related the incident to the security person who was checking my bag. She said there should be a tape at the fitting room area. That's my last time shopping at Big W Echuca.
