Bhai Parmanand Institute of Business Studies-BPIBS is a Technical Institute promoted by Government of Delhi in 1986 by naming after Bhai Parmanand, a famous Sikh Martyr from Punjab and functioning under the Department of Training and Technical Education, Government of NCT of Delhi, has set a new benchmark in the Technical Education in India. The Bhai Parmanand Institute of Business Studies-BPIBS housed in spacious buildings at a DDA plot.
Bhai Parmanand Institute of Business Studies-BPIBS has been conducting three regular courses viz. Three Year Diploma in Modern Office Practice (English & Hindi) affiliated to Board of Technical Education, Three Year Master of Computer Application and Two Year Master of Business Administration, Post-Graduate Degrees affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU). Initially, this Institute was established as a unit under polytechnic of technical education department in 1965. Later this Institute attained independent identity as “Institute of Commercial Practice” in the year 1972.
Bhai Parmanand Institute of Business Studies-BPIBS has been contributing to train the youngsters in vocational-cum-job oriented courses in the stream of management, Secretarial Practice and Entrepreneurship Development. Delhi Government has announced of developing this Institute as a Model Post Graduate Institute.

The well-furnished Bhai Parmanand Institute of Business Studies-BPIBS Library has a stack of more than 30000 volumes and subscribes more than 30 periodicals covering all aspects of Technical Education. The library is well equipped with reference books, CDs, periodicals of national and international standards in the area of Computer Applications, Management and Technology.
A Multi Purpose Hall with an area of 3000 sq. ft. was built up in a Theatre Style at par with International Standards and being in use in the premises of Bhai Parmanand Institute of Business Studies-BPIBS. This is used invariably for Exhibitions, Conferences, Seminars, Workshops, Expert/Special Lectures, meetings of Facility, Symposiums, Interactive Sessions, Annual Day Celebrations Bpibs, etc. The fully air – conditioned multi Purpose hall is equipped with LCD display system, white board, a big screen, well-laid seating arrangements fitted with sliding-table top for keeping papers, notebooks etc. by the participants while attending lectures, besides the Audio-Visual Equipments like effective Public Address Visuals System with a well-raised Dais for the VIPs and a Podium for the Speakers. The flooring of Participant’s Lounge as well as the Dais has been covered by Marble tiles which gives an aesthetic look for the visitors. The Multi-Purpose hall could accommodate a maximum of 250 participants per programme.
The Training and Placement Unit of the Bhai Parmanand Institute of Business Studies-BPIBS is responsible for arranging training of the undergraduate students to meet their degree requirement and to provide world class job opportunities to the undergraduate and postgraduate students after graduation for suitable jobs in the industry and various private and public sector organizations. The Training and Placement Unit arranges senior executives of major industries and organizations to provide pre-placement orientation to the students prior to formal campus interviews.
