Later on March 13, 2014, the company overtook the Leap Wireless.
The company purchased the BellSouth on March 5, 2006. It was on May 19 2007 that the logo of Cingular was replaced with the new logo of AT&T. In the same month the website of the company was also redirected from Cingular.com to wireless.att.com. Later in November 2007, the company bought the Dobson Communications.
