Unable to talk to a live person. They at one point asked for my six digit PIN number. I entered it, only to be told that it was "invalid". My issue with Telmate is that I set up an account when my grandson was in Monroe County Indiana jail for a week. Telmate tells me that I at this moment have eight CENTS in my account. Yet they charged me altogether $118. 27 for calls made on February four and February 2. My grandson was released on Feb four early in the morning and NO CALLS were made on that day or on the previous two days. Was there a computer glitch? I WANT MY MONEY REFUNDED ASAP. Call me 812-332-4283 OR just deposit that amount back into my account. I WANT MY MONEY REFUNDED THAT YOU TOOK UNDER FALSE PRETENSES.

I'm so disgusted with this company
My son called or someone put money on his account that debt / credit card wasn't approved. Now because my son knows someone that tried to commit fraud EVERY ONE else that wants to put money from debt/credit card is considered a criminal/person that "might commit crime" Selena "expert" from Telmate stated very clearly that my son wasn't involved in this. Unless the person that made the complaint removes it it'll always be there and of course not my son nor anyone else can get information of that person. They need to change it to inform the inmate to ask the people who trying to put money using debt/credit card that they're not going to do anything fraudulent. Telemate only company around here that has this service' I'm leaving the state going make it harder to have contact with my son.

My wife (inmate at Coffee Creek) has tried calling me about three times yesterday and also today. When I answer the call and press one the line goes dead. I put funds on her commissary account on the 29th, there is plenty there. What is the problem? A technical issue in your system Please fix this so the line won't go dead when I answer the phone and press 1. I can not call her. I have already call the 866. 516. 0115 number twice today explaining this situation and they SAY they are looking into it. That is little consolation especially when you're in her position. Ok my name is Christina Hicks and i had a visit with Bradley Rhoads in the ada county jail in boise ID today and it was a complete failure. Not to mention two phone calls were also qasted cause we couldnt here each other visa versa. I would like for these matters to be at least looked at ive have spent over a $100 and yet to have a visit or phone call be successful. My is 208/703/2439

Perhaps instead of gouging those who may have a loved one incarcerated at some time and trying to literally rob them of any monies they may be able to place on an account, Telmate should concentrate on trying to be more compassionate and less greedy because they can be. I hope that the management or the owners of this greedy company celebrate loudly and proudly on the loss of the monies that so many people have lost due to your outrageous costs to communicate with those that are incarcerated. What a shame it is to be so greedy. I would absolutely tell anyone to write letters to communicate instead of the ripoff that Telmate does. And shame on those institutions that use this company. This is a horribly company preying on those in a bad place for their own greed.
